This online activity features Dr. B. Kent Remington,
a renowned expert in aesthetic medicine, providing
advanced instruction on the evolving use of nonsurgical approaches to volumizing and contouring
of the chin area also known as chin reflation. The activity provides participants with didactic
information regarding the effective assessment of current approaches to chin reflation,
and an in-depth description of potential alternative therapeutic modalities, focusing on
the use of dermal fillers and neuromodulators. Any expected differences in therapeutic modalities
will be provided in an effort to ensure safe and effective clinical decision-making.
Participants in this activity will gain a greater clinical understanding of the principles
and advanced techniques used to make the global approach a state-of-the-art nonsurgical procedure
to volume correction of the all-important perioral region.
This online educational activity comprises several different components including access to video
demonstrations of the advanced injection technique, a narrated slide lecture and interview with
Dr. Remington as well as additional resource materials.
